Earl William Anderson, a Pan Am Captain designed a home built flying boat in late 1969. It proved successful so he began selling kits. By 1978 he had sold over 200 kit sets. It has a single engine mounted on a pylon over the cockpit in a tractor orientation, boat hull and out rigger floats on the wing.. Some of the builders from the kit would use a Piper Cub wing rather than building the kit wing.
